From first inventory to final report

MigrateoX takes a mailbox migration through three stages: discover, migrate, validate. Here is how a project runs and what you see at each step.

1 Create a project
2Connect environments
3 Discover
4Migrate in batches
5 Validation
6 Report

Discovery and assessment

Start from an inventory, not a guess.

Connect to source environment to find user accounts and mailboxes. Categorize and map all users, assess capacity, and run source system checks to prepare for the migration process smoothly.

  • Mailboxes, archive mailboxes, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, calendars and contacts
  • Items over 150 MB and legacy permissions flagged for planning
  • Mailboxes that cannot be inventoried are kept out of scope until access is fixed

Migration orchestration

One project per migration, one place for its connections.

Each project holds its source, destination, description and stage. Connections to Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Exchange and IMAP are listed with their status.

  • Projects show source, destination, progress and status
  • Reconnect an environment without recreating the project
  • Start, pause and resume from the project workspace

Batches, monitoring and recovery

Stage the move the way the business works, and recover without starting over.

Group mailboxes into batches, for example a weekend cutover plan with Finance first, then Operations, then Sales. Progress shows completed, running and queued. If a mailbox does not migrate, for example because of source throttling or a locked mailbox, MigrateoX explains the common causes and lets you retry.

  • Batches run in order, with per-mailbox progress
  • Mailboxes that did not migrate are excluded from cutover until retried or resolved
  • Retries reuse already-copied items

Validation and reports

Audit-ready validation and compliance documentation

Generate cryptographic verification proofs proving bit-for-bit delivery across all source and destination endpoints.

  • Item count, size, and hash cross-validation
  • Exportable compliance and audit reports
  • Instant reconciliation for skipped or quarantined items

Supported source and destination systems

Try the console

Run a scan, start a batch and run validation yourself. It is a simulation in your browser with sample data: it never contacts a tenant or migrates a real mailbox.
